Amvets Post #1111

The Commander's Welcome

Welcome to the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial AMVETS Post #1111. Chartered in 2000, Post 1111 has been committed to fulfilling the aims and purposes of the National AMVETS (American Veterans) organization. Post programs and activities provide opportunities to members of the community and our post to support awareness of the American way of life and our local Veterans who have served honorably to defend and uphold our constitution.

From assisting with our Downtown Flags program to representing AMVETS during VA Voluntary Service committee meetings, from participating in the Wainwright memorial improvement project to serving on the Honor Guard, from supporting local Boy Scouts to train our youth to become purposeful citizens in a democracy to serving fellow AMVETS post as an officer there is an opportunity for you to become involved.

Service to our local Veterans and our community represent the driving force we have to make a difference in the lives of others. The pages of this website offer information on AMVETS Post #1111, our activities and links to the National AMVETS site.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and learn about the post. We welcome your thoughts and participation in our mission of veterans and support of the community.

Please join us every 3rd Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Golden West Estates for our monthly meeting.
